Fin Super is a universal dry film oil lubricant fortified with Interflon’s unique MicPol® technology. Fin Super has excellent cleaning, lubricating and protective qualities. As a dry lubricant, it goes on wet and leaves a clean, dry lubricating film that does not drip, stain, adhere to dust or dirt and provides long-term protection against moisture and corrosion. Due to the small particle size of MicPol® (0.05–0.15 microns), Fin Super penetrates very small aeras, dissolving dirt, expelling moisture and lubricating up to 10 times longer than conventional oils. MicPol®’s unique technology also makes it resistant to water and other contaminants.
Fin Super provides a friction coefficient of 0.02 to 0.06 while being PFAS free, this means that Fin Super is free of harmful chemicals like Teflon that are found in other lubricants. Fin Super has a wide temperature range of -45°F to 338°F making it very versatile and ideal for a wide range of applications.
Application areas
Suitable for cleaning, removing rust and corrosion. For the lubrication of chains, cables, housings, cylinders, spindles, hinges, shafts, rods, locks, tools, valves, sunroofs, measuring equipment, door seals, weapons etc. Excellent replacement for lubricants with MoS2 or graphite and silicon spray.
Instructions for use
Shake before use. Parts should be cleaned first with a solvent or alkaline cleaning agent. Spray Interflon Fin Super (aerosol) onto parts such as cables and chains and allow to penetrate. Wipe off the excess lubricant with a clean cloth. Note: Do not use too much Interflon Fin Super (aerosol). Applying a thin layer, with occasional re-lubrication, gives a better result than a thick layer.

What is MicPol® technology
MicPol® technology is Interflon’s unique technology that strengthens and improves the original properties of the lubricants. MicPol® is a combination of micronization and polarization. Micronization is a process where components of the lubricant are reduced in such a way that they can penetrate all pores and sub-pores of a surface to be lubricated. Polarization is the components that are charged during the production process. This ensures a unique adhesion to the surfaces to be lubricated. Advantages of MicPol® include;
- Longer lasting lubrication (extends PM intervals)
- Runs at much lower friction than conventional or synthetic oils
- Dirt, sand and water repellent
- Lubricant lasts longer (less oil needed)
- Better resistance to high pressure and loads
A dry-film lubricant goes on wet but quickly evaporates the carrier solvent, leaving behind a thin, clean, dry lubricating layer on the surface. Unlike conventional oils and greases that remain wet and sticky, a dry film does not attract dust, dirt, or other abrasive particles that can accelerate wear. This makes Interflon Fin Super aerosol particularly effective in environments where contamination is a concern — such as printing machinery, textile equipment, food-adjacent applications, and precision tools. The dry film also means it will not stain fabrics, paper, or other sensitive materials nearby.
Fin Super is suitable for an exceptionally broad range of components and materials. Typical applications include:
- Chains, cables, and drive systems — industrial and mechanical chains, Bowden cables, push-pull cables, steel cables
- Joints, hinges, and pivots — door hinges, gate mechanisms, latches, sunroofs
- Locks and cylinders — door locks, padlocks, locking cylinders
- Tools and equipment — hand tools, power tools, air tools, precision instruments, measuring equipment
- Automotive — door locks, hinges, antennas, cables, and other moving parts
- Industrial machinery — spindles, housings, cylinders, shafts, rods, conveyors, nylon slide bearings, valves
- Outdoor and recreational — fishing rods and reels, hunting equipment, firearms, garden tools, camping gear
Fin Super does not damage rubber or plastic, making it safe for use on seals, door rubbers, and window guides.
Superior Dry Film Technology: While both create low-friction surfaces, MicPol®'s ability to form a highly durable, non-stick, and dirt-repellent dry film that bonds to the surface often leads to longer lubrication intervals and cleaner operation compared to many conventional PTFE-based lubricants.
Comprehensive Performance: MicPol®-enhanced products like Fin Super, offer a multi-functional approach, providing cleaning, penetrating, moisture displacement, and long-lasting lubrication and protection in one solution.
Environmental and Safety Profile: The PFAS-free nature of MicPol® products make them better for the user and the environment because they are free of the significant environmental and health concerns associated with fluoropolymers like PTFE.
Interflon Fin Super (aerosol) stands out as a superior alternative to Teflon lubricants due to its advanced MicPol® technology, which delivers a cleaner, longer lasting, and more effective dry lubrication film. Fin Super is PFAS-free, which is an important consideration given growing concerns about per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in the environment and their potential health impacts. It also contains no chlorinated solvents or silicones.
While PTFE also creates a low-friction surface, Interflon's MicPol® technology offers a unique advantage by creating a highly durable, non-stick, and dirt-repellent dry film that bonds to the surface. This often results in longer lubrication intervals and cleaner operation compared to many conventional PTFE-based lubricants that might still leave a somewhat tacky residue or attract more contaminants.
Fin Super aerosol is a universal, high-performance dry-film lubricant spray formulated with Interflon's MicPol® technology. It is designed to clean, lubricate, and protect virtually any moving part across a wide range of industrial, commercial, and consumer applications. Fin Super penetrates deep into surface structures, displaces moisture, dissolves rust, breaks down deposits, and leaves a long-lasting dry film that resists water, dirt, and corrosion — without dripping, staining, or attracting abrasive particles. It is one of the most versatile penetrating lubricant sprays available for both preventative and corrective maintenance.
MicPol® Technology is a key component in many Interflon products, enhancing their performance in various applications. It involves the use of very small and polarized particles that create a durable, low-friction film on surfaces.
The name MicPol is a combination of micronization and polarization.
Micronization is part of a unique process, the components of the lubricant are reduced to such size that they are able to penetrate into all pores and sub-pores of the surface to be lubricated. This enables them to form a much better homogeneous barrier between moving parts (lubricating film).
Polarization happens during the production process when all components are given a charge. This ensures a unique adhesion to the surfaces to be lubricated. In addition, Interflon has succeeded in charging part of the base oil as well. This is called a bonding bridge and provides better resistance to high pressures as well.

Similar multi-purpose sprays are primarily water-displacement and light-penetration products. They offer short-term lubrication but tend to wash off quickly, attract dirt, and require frequent reapplication. Fin Super goes further: it penetrates more deeply thanks to MicPol® technology, forms a durable dry film that lasts up to 10 times longer than conventional lubricants, does not attract abrasive particles, and actively protects against corrosion over the long term. For maintenance professionals who want to reduce lubrication frequency and total product consumption, Fin Super delivers a significantly better cost-per-use ratio.
Yes. One of Fin Super's key strengths is its outstanding penetrating ability. Its MicPol® particles, at 0.05–0.15 microns, are small enough to work into the microscopic gaps between corroded or seized surfaces. Fin Super dissolves rust, breaks down oxidation deposits, and frees stuck, frozen, or seized parts — making it highly effective for both corrective maintenance (freeing a stuck bolt or seized hinge) and preventative protection (stopping corrosion before it starts).
Fin Super aerosol performs reliably across a temperature range of -45°F to 338°F (-43°C to 170°C) — after the carrier solvent has fully evaporated. This wide operating range makes it suitable for both cold-environment applications (refrigerated storage, outdoor equipment in winter) and high-temperature applications such as industrial ovens, heated machinery, and automotive components. Few general-purpose penetrating sprays match this breadth of thermal performance.
