Food grade assembly paste for high temperature conditions. Provides for a low coefficient of friction for loose screw connections with best-in-class breakaway torque characteristics, in particular on stainless steel. Prevents fretting and corrosion during the manufacture, assembly and disassembly of all kinds of machinery and equipment, even after the connection has been exposed to temperatures up to 2192°F. Highly resistant to moisture, (salt)water, acid media, high pressure and atmospheric effects. Specially formulated with soft, non-toxic ceramic materials chosen for their ability to meet the stringent requirements of the food industry (NSF Class H1). Excellent replacement for hazardous products such as copper paste which threatens the environment and health of users and bystanders.

Application areas

For use in all screw connections and assembling of metal parts of all kinds of machinery and equipment. For assembling and fitting of brakes, exhaust systems and turbo chargers systems, pneumatic tools, pins, plugs and everything else with a screw connection that is exposed to high pressures and temperatures. Very suitable as an environmental friendly alternative to copper paste and for use in stainless steel screw connections.

Instructions for use

Clean the parts to be assembled well and allow to dry. Apply Interflon Paste HT1200 on cold parts before assembly.

Safety & Compliance

What is MicPol® technology

MicPol® technology is Interflon’s unique technology that strengthens and improves the original properties of the lubricants. MicPol® is a combination of micronisation and polarization. Micronisation is a process where components of the lubricant are reduced in such a way that they can penetrate all pores and sub-pores of a surface to be lubricated. Polarization is the components that are charged during the production process. This ensures a unique adhesion to the surfaces to be lubricated. Advantages of MicPol® include;

  • Longer lasting lubrication (extends PM intervals)
  • Runs much longer than conventional or synthetic greases
  • Dirt, sand and water repellent
  • Lubricant lasts longer (less grease needed)
  • Better resistance to high pressure and loads

All our products are based on our exclusive MicPol® technology

FAQ

  1. Clean the parts thoroughly and allow them to dry.
  2. Apply HT1200 Paste on cold parts before assembly.

Yes, HT1200 Paste is listed by the NSF for use in applications with incidental food contact (NSF H1 registered).

HT1200 Paste is used for all screw connections and assembling metal parts in various machinery and equipment. This includes brakes, exhaust systems, turbocharger systems, pneumatic tools, pins, plugs, and any screw connection exposed to high pressures and temperatures. It is also an excellent environmentally friendly alternative to copper paste and is suitable for use in stainless steel screw connections.

  • Low friction: Facilitates easy assembly and disassembly.
  • Reduced risk of damage: Minimizes damage during disassembly.
  • Strong corrosion protection: Effectively prevents corrosion.
  • Strong adherence: Adheres well to surfaces and is not pushed away during assembly.
  • Non-drying/non-crusting: Unlike copper or aluminum pastes, it doesn't dry out or form a crust.
  • Metal-free: Safe for humans and the environment.
  • PFAS-free: Environmentally conscious formulation.

HT1200 is applicable at temperatures from -4°F up to a maximum of 2,192°F.

An assembly grease is a strong adhering, multipurpose grease and its primary function is to prevent common issues that arise during the assembly and operation of mechanical components such as jamming, fretting, rust and corrosion. Assembly grease is used as a reliable lubricating agent for various connections and to ease the assembly and disassembly of a wide range of commonly used machine parts.
