Interflon launches Food Lube 3H: NSF-3H & H1 lubricant and release agent for direct food contact

We're happy to announce the launch of Interflon Food Lube 3H, a food-grade lubricant and release agent dual-registered with NSF 3H (direct contact) and H1 (incidental contact). The product enables both direct-contact release applications and incidental-contact lubrication within a single solution, helping food producers simplify compliance and maintenance across production zones.

Safer option for the food industry

Formulated with an edible synthetic ester base and powered by MicPol® technology, Interflon Food Lube 3H delivers durable wear and corrosion protection while maintaining strict hygiene standards. Unlike conventional 3H release agents based on white mineral oils, it uses ingredients compliant for both incidental and direct food contact, offering a safer and more versatile option for bakeries, meat and poultry processors, dairies, fruit- and vegetable-processing lines, freezing and cooling operations, and food-contact packaging machinery.

Typical uses include dough dividers, knives, cutting mechanisms and other solid food-contact surfaces where non-stick performance and a thin, controlled lubrication film are required.

The formulation is PFAS-free, MOSH/MOAH-free, allergen-free and GMO-free, and certified Halal, Kosher and vegan. At elevated temperatures it performs without hard residue build-up, ensuring consistent release and cleaner operations.
