LeafGuard® - Clean OTR
Every autumn, millions of leaves fall from the trees onto railway tracks. This can make it challenging to safely run trains. Interflon has developed a unique fast acting liquid which dissolves organic leaf matter: Interflon LeafGuard®.
Interflon LeafGuard is a quick-acting (1-2 minutes) cleaner that does not require rinsing or wiping. It self-cleans and leaves behind a micro layer that is reactivated by rainwater and moisture, keeping the surface clean for longer.
The cleaner is safe to use on steel, rubber, plastic, and reflective coatings. It can also be safely used around cabling, insulators, pads, and speed board signage.
Interflon LeafGuard® reduces the time it takes to clean the railhead, which helps to reduce delays to passenger travel and allows seasonal teams to focus on other tasks, such as restoring track circuits.
