Prevent glass particles from contaminating your lubricants

A single equipment failure, such as that of a tempering line, can shut down an entire glass processing factory. When your glass processing equipment is not running, it's costing you money. You'll miss your delivery times, and risk losing customers or at least lowering their satisfaction.

Since the main component of glass is silica sand, maintenance workers in this industry know that everything must be done to prevent this material from penetrating machine parts. It can create abrasiveness, resulting in premature wear or malfunctions. Our MicPol® technology prevent glass particles from mixing with lubricants and also repels water.

Some applications in the glass industry

  • Washing and transfer machines
  • Conveyor belts
  • Bearings
  • Gears
  • Chains
  • Pistons

No more adhesion of glass dust

Conventional 'wet' lubricants can attract and adhere glass dust, causing stick-slip and premature wear. Interflon Lube TF leaves a dry MicPol® film that prevents glass dust from adhering, minimizing cleaning and relubrication (4x less). At the same time it also protects machine parts from corrosion since MicPol® repels water.
