Frequently Asked Questions
Interflon Foam Clean (aerosol) is not aggressive according to its technical data sheet, which describes it as especially suited for safely cleaning flat screens, touchscreen registers and TFT screens, unless the device's operating manual excludes a particular cleaner.
Coatings and transparent plastics can still react differently to cleaning agents. Test a small, inconspicuous area first and take care with anti-reflection coatings and transparent plastics.
Spray, let the foam work briefly and rub dry with a soft cloth or paper. In food processing areas, follow the conditions of its NSF A1 registration.
Streaks on glass, mirrors and acrylic glass can appear when a cleaner dries on the surface before it is wiped off, or when loosened dirt runs down over areas that are already clean.
Interflon Foam Clean (aerosol) dries without traces. Its technical data sheet advises not to apply it to hot surfaces, and not to use it or let it dry in direct sunlight. On large vertical surfaces, apply the foam from the bottom upwards so the whole area is covered, then wipe from the top downwards to prevent streak marks.
Interflon Foam Clean (aerosol) is intended for glass, acrylic glass, mirrors, screens, synthetic material, lacquered surfaces, metal and other waterproof surfaces, where it removes dirt, grease, fingerprints and insect residues.
Machine parts such as bearings, chains and gear wheels are not among its listed applications. For cleaning and degreasing those parts, Interflon Metal Clean F (aerosol) is a good choice, it evaporates rapidly without leaving residues, but must not be used on rubber, plastic components or safety glass.
For abrasive and matt finish stainless steel, Interflon Dry Clean Stainless Steel (aerosol) is applied after cleaning and leaves a protective coating.
