A leading sausage production company faced a severe issue with the transport chains in their pasteurization plant for cooked hams. The plant's hot and cold zones relied on two pairs of parallel chains, each panning 15 meters, totaling 60 meters in length. Due to the challenging environmental conditions and mechanical problems, these chains needed replacement every 18 months.
