Making a positive environmental impact

Introducing PCR packaging for grease cartridges

In a significant step towards sustainability, we are excited to be the first lubricant supplier to introduce PCR packaging for grease cartridges. This innovative packaging is made from 30% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) material, reflecting our commitment to reducing our environmental impact.

PCR: a sustainable choice

PCR material is derived from used plastic discarded by consumers. It's collected, cleaned, and reprocessed to create new materials. By incorporating PCR, we divert plastic waste from landfills and reduce dependence on virgin plastic. Our 30% PCR blend allows us to maintain our high safety and quality standards while making a positive environmental impact.

A first in the lubricant industry

We are proud to be the first lubricant supplier to adopt this type of packaging for grease cartridges. This initiative underscores our dedication to sustainability and our proactive approach to environmental responsibility.

Launching with Bio Grease MP2

The first product to be packaged in our new PCR cartridges will be Interflon Bio Grease MP2. The familiar black colour remains, with a clear logo indicating the use of PCR material. We plan to expand this packaging solution to more products in the future.

Our commitment to environmental responsibility

Sustainability is central to our operations. This new packaging aligns with our ongoing efforts to minimise our environmental impact. By integrating PCR materials into our packaging, we are not only reducing waste but also promoting a circular economy where materials are reused and recycled, rather than discarded. This approach helps conserve resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and protect our planet for future generations.

Our goal is to continuously improve our processes and products, ensuring that we contribute positively to the environment. The introduction of PCR packaging is just one of many steps we are undertaking on our journey to a more sustainable future.
