One-point automatic lubrication system

Interflon
Single Point Lubricator

A one-point automatic lubrication system for a wide range of applications. With five available sizes, there is always a suitable option for your lubrication point.

Single point lubricators are designed to dispense lubricant at regular intervals, ensuring a continuous supply to the lubrication point. This helps prevent over- or under-greasing, which can lead to premature wear and failure. It's a cost-effective alternative to manual lubrication or more complex automatic systems, especially for hard-to-reach areas or where power is limited.

Key properties and benefits

  • Time-saving: reduces manual lubrication tasks
  • Highly reliable: 24/7 delivery of the right amount of grease
  • Visual check: easy to monitor operation
  • Quick to install, even under water
  • Clean and precise: prevents contamination caused by dirty grease nipples
  • Versatile: suitable for numerous applications
  • Operating pressure: 5 bar
  • Wide temperature range: operates from -20°C to +55°C
  • Environmentally responsible: Fully recyclable and refillable, with no grease waste

Frequently Asked Questions

The transparent housing shows the lubricant level at a glance, so you can see the dispensing progress and when a unit needs replacing without any tools. Check the connection within 48 hours of installation to confirm there are no leaks, and include the lubricator in your regular maintenance rounds after that.

No. The standard ISPL needs no external power, wiring or batteries. A hydrogen gas producing dry cell in the activator builds up pressure behind a piston, which pushes the lubricant into the lubrication point. Only the optional Impulse Connect pressure booster uses a battery pack.

Both. The ISPL is available filled with a selection of Interflon greases and oils, or empty for self-filling. Filled versions are available in all five sizes, including NSF H1 registered food grade lubricants. How to choose the right lubricant

Yes. All sizes from 15 to 250 ml can be refilled up to three times using the Interflon Single Point Lubricator filling set.

Yes. The dispensing time is freely selectable between 1 and 12 months and can be modified at any time, for example when operating conditions or the required relubrication interval change.

The ISPL operates at ambient temperatures from −20 °C to +55 °C with a maximum working pressure of 5 bar. The sealed system is IP68 rated, dustproof and waterproof, so the lubricator can be used in any location, even underwater. Unused lubricators are best stored at 20 °C ±5 °C.

Whenever possible, mount the ISPL directly on the lubrication point using the standard G ¼" connection thread. No wiring or control unit is needed. Before installation, check the back-pressure at the lubrication point and avoid adapters that create extra resistance, such as 90° connections. Stainless steel L-shape, Z-shape and universal mounting brackets are available for confined spaces, and the Interflon Thread Tester identifies the grease nipple thread so the correct adapter can be selected.

Yes. Direct mounting on the lubrication point gives the best result, but where a point is hard to reach, the ISPL can be connected via a hose. For grease, use a pre-filled, non-transparent hose of up to 50 cm: 6x4 mm for semi-liquid greases and 8x6 mm for NLGI 2 greases. For oil, use non-transparent 4x2 mm or 6x4 mm hoses of up to five metres, with a non-return valve to keep the lubricator from draining. The valve is not needed when the lubrication point is above the lubricator. Pre-filling the hose ensures lubricant reaches the point from day one: one metre of hose with a 6 mm inner diameter holds 28.3 ml. Keep the hose free of bends and obstacles. For oil lines of up to 15 metres, combine the ISPL with the Impulse Connect.

Yes. The standard ISPL is Ex certified for use in all zones and also carries CE, UKCA and IP68 marking, which makes it a safe, power-free solution for lubrication points in explosive atmospheres.

The ISPL contains no toxic substances and is easy to dispose of at the end of its dispensing cycle. Used lubricators are recycled or disposed of in line with local regulations. Refilling up to three times further reduces waste.
