Challenge 1: Avoid premature gearbox failures and reduce operating temperature
The result
By applying Interflon Food Lube G220, the following was achieved:
- A 10% reduction in temperature due to lower friction, resulting in an 8% decrease in electrical consumption.
- Extending lubrication intervals from 6,000 hours to 18,000 hours, reducing labour for oil changes and repairs.
Challenge 2: Extend the lifespan of the reducer and prevent corrosion
The result
After applying Interflon Food Lube G220, the following was achieved:
- Eliminated oil leaks
- 300% increase of lubrication intervals: extended from 8,000 hours to 32,000 hours
- Extended lifespan of the reducers
