Transparent general-purpose grease fortified with MicPol®
Interflon
Fin Grease (aerosol)
A transparent, non-staining multipurpose grease designed for long-lasting lubrication and reduced maintenance. Fortified with MicPol® technology, this high-performance aerosol forms a resilient, transparent film that protects against metal-to-metal contact, water, and contaminants - even under demanding conditions.
NSF H1, NSF 537 and NSF 538 certified, making it safe for use in environments where incidental contact with food or pharmaceuticals may occur.
Key benefits
- Reduces friction and wear significantly
- Shields components from water, dirt, and debris
- Prevents rust and corrosion
- Extends lubrication intervals
- Performs reliably under emergency run conditions
- PFAS-free and food-industry compliant
Product application areas
Ideal for general lubrication tasks across food processing plants, industrial facilities, and small to mid-sized businesses.
Suitable for:
Bearings, sliding surfaces, open gears, guide tracks, hinge pins, U-joints, rod ends, gear wheels, spindles, shafts, toothed belts, locking pins, valves, slideways, guidances, axles, crown gears - and many other components subject to moderate speed and load.
Frequently Asked Questions
Use a grease that adheres firmly to the metal surface and resists water spray, because frequent washdowns can displace a grease film and leave components exposed to wear. How quickly this happens depends on cleaning frequency, water pressure, temperature and the cleaning agents used. Interflon Fin Grease (aerosol) contains MicPol® technology, which makes the additives and part of the base oil adhere strongly to metal. On frequently cleaned capping heads in the beverage industry, Fin Grease (aerosol) extended lubrication intervals by 60% and reduced component replacement by 30%.

How do I stop grease dripping onto products?
Apply a thin film to a cleaned part and use a grease that stays where it is applied. Dripping can start when too much lubricant is applied, when lubricant runs off moving parts, or when old lubricant and contamination build up in a component. Interflon Fin Grease (aerosol) is a non-staining grease that is applied thinly to cleaned parts. On beverage capping heads, cleaning with Interflon Degreaser EM30+ combined with Fin Grease (aerosol) eliminated the dripping that stained caps and cut lubrication time from nine hours to ten minutes per month. In injection moulding, Fin Grease can be used on mould parts to avoid dripping onto cavities and moulded parts.

Is dripping lubricant causing rejected products? Ask an Interflon Technical Advisor for no-obligation advice on your application.
Interflon Fin Grease (aerosol) is a general-purpose grease that is especially suited to heavily loaded parts, but it has clear limits. Choose a different lubricant in cold zones below -20 °C, in hot zones above 150 °C, on bearings running above a Dn factor of 250,000, or where an application calls for an oil rather than a grease. Near heat, let the solvent evaporate before the part reaches operating temperature, because the 150 °C limit applies only after evaporation.
Links: High temperature grease, What is the difference between oil and grease?
It can, for lubrication points that fall within the product's operating range. Interflon Fin Grease (aerosol) is a multipurpose grease for bearings, guides, gears, spindles, hinges, cables and valves, for use in industry and food processing. In injection moulding, for example, moulds can be lubricated with Fin Grease as the only product for all mould parts. How far a site can consolidate depends on the temperature, speed, load and food-contact requirements at each point. Fewer lubricants can mean fewer products to stock and less chance of applying the wrong one.
How many lubricants could your site do without?
