Technical Advisor
Role Summary
As a member of the Global Sales and Marketing Team, the Interflon USA Technical Advisor is responsible for growing and managing sales in a defined sales area. This position is accountable to help execute the short & long-term strategy to grow profitable business in the U.S. market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Customer Growth Strategies – Work with Sales Personnel, Distributors, Senior Management, Operations and other cross functions as required to drive the creation and implementation of an aligned growth & commercial strategy to increase market share and profitability for Interflon USA. Align our sales and product/service strategies to the technological and innovation needs of our customers.
- Commercial Development – Responsible for sales related commercial activities that are required for profitability and growth. This activity includes, but is not limited to, lead generation, territory management and accountability, and other relevant commercial issues including reporting of business performance metrics and other activities while maintaining productive working relationships with our customers.
- Business Planning - Accountable for the business planning in coordination with the group management, sales, finance, marketing, product and service lines, and all cross functions. Ensure that we deliver a competitive business case to grow profitable business with our customers.
- Ensure adherence to all corporate compliance directives through effective training, communication, measurement, and related activities.

Education/Skills/Special Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales /Marketing or related degree or relative work experience preferred.
- Strong background with minimum 2 years of domestic sales experience with proven track record in developing sales strategies, demonstrated growth and market development with an emphasis on value-based solution selling.
- Ideal candidate will have a network within in the MRO community, selling experience with Maintenance and Engineering departments, as well being familiar with the processes involved with lubrication management.
- Must welcome responsibility, challenges and decision making. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and managing new accounts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, emphasizing interpersonal, group. presentation, and team facilitation skills across cultures.
- Strong analytical skills and computer skills are required.
