At Interflon USA, we’re always looking for new ways to help our clients. We do this through our knowledge of lubrication and equipment, our combined decades of field experience, our love of talking to our customers, and most recently, by combining all these things with internet technology into our latest offering: the Interflon 2MP System.
2MP stands for Machine by Machine, Point by Point. The 2MP System provides you with detailed lubrication instructions for your maintenance personnel to follow. Every lubrication point on a piece of equipment or production line is described on its own page, along with short, simple text, color photographs, and clear directions on what lube to use and when to use it.
Why is the 2MP System necessary? Because on some lines, there can be hundreds of lubrication points to keep track of. It’s very difficult to remember all of them, let alone the correct lube to use, how much, and how often. Lubrication mistakes--such as underlubing, overlubing, or using the wrong product--often lead to breakdowns, which can only be damaging to your business’ bottom line.
We custom-make every 2MP page for you. An Interflon Technical Advisor will visit your facility with a camera and laptop. He will then take photographs of your equipment, including long, medium, and close-up shots of each lubrication point. He will upload these images to our 2MP System for printing. He’ll then return to you a bound set of color-printed documents with clear, detailed lubrication instructions in English and Spanish. There will be a separate sheet in this binder for each point or set of points that must be lubricated. Each sheet will be in a plastic insert for durability.
The 2MP System has many other advantages as well:

- Greatly simplifies the process of training staff replacements or fill-ins
- Allows for remote assessment of lube recommendations by other Interflon personnel who can provide input

- 2MP sheets are written in a general style, easy for all reading levels to understand.
- Your 2MP System binder is easily stored on your lube cart or in your cabinet and will always be handy to show auditors
