Interflon lubricants with MicPol are up to the challenge!
What are the best lubricants for heavy construction equipment?
Interflon are manufacturers of specialized lubricants and protective coatings with MicPol. Founded in 1980, the company has established a strong reputation throughout Europe, and has only recently expanded into North America. Many of their products are specifically designed for use in the construction industry.
Interflon Grease LS2 is a long-threaded, extreme pressure grease designed to withstand high impact loads and low temperatures. It's transparent, allowing for easy parts inspection even after application. With its strong resistance to both water and foreign particles, LS2 is ideal for use on excavators and all types of construction machinery. It is available in lube shuttle (grease gun), tub, and barrel formats.
Interflon Grease OG is formulated for open gears, such as the crown gears often found on heavy construction equipment. It is a transparent lithium-calcium-complex grease. OG is available in aerosol, tub, or lube shuttle formats.
Interflon Paste HT1200 is a ceramic-based assembly paste that can withstand temperatures of up to 1200 Celsius (over 2100 F). It can be used effectively in underwater applications to prevent rust and galvanic corrosion, as well as seizing, fretting, and galling. It replaces more hazardous products such as copper paste. It is available in aerosol, tub, or squeezable tube formats.
Interflon products contain MicPol, a proprietary dry lubricant additive that adheres to surfaces via its negative polarity. This provides a much stronger bond than viscous adhesion. As a result, Interflon case studies show, their products are able to last up to ten times as long as traditional lubricants. They also withstand harsh chemical cleaning processes and heavy-duty water spray, and they resist particle adhesion and contamination.
Interflon Canada is located in Mahone Bay, N.S. Interflon USA is located in Jersey City, N.J.
