BRCGS
BRCGS, formerly the British Retail Consortium Global Standards, set rigorous global standards for product safety, quality, and legality across various supply chain stages, including production, packaging, storage, and distribution. Achieving BRCGS certification offers several benefits:
- Market Access: Certification is widely accepted and specified by many retailers, manufacturers, and food service organisations worldwide as part of their supplier approval process.
- Regulatory Compliance: It helps businesses comply with legal requirements and meet customer expectations.
- Operational Efficiency: Adhering to BRCGS standards can improve operational efficiency, commercial growth, and profitability.
BRCGS certification is widely used in the food industry and applies to packaging, storage, distribution, and consumer products. It helps businesses improve operations and meet industry standards.
- Drive Efficiency: 70% of businesses report better production methods, leading to higher productivity.
- Boost Innovation: 30% of businesses develop new products due to certification.
- Enhance Safety: Certified companies see a 40% drop in food recalls.
In summary, BRCGS certification can improve efficiency, foster innovation, and enhance safety in your business operations.

PFAS
In 2012, Interflon began developing a new generation of PFAS-free lubricants using advanced MicPol® technology. The goal was to improve performance and durability, reduce mechanical friction, and increase the use of renewable resources. These PFAS-free lubricants are free of microplastics and nanoparticles, and comply with international regulations such as REACH, ECHA, CLP, OSHA, and TSCA.
“Sustainability and performance should go hand in hand. By eliminating PFAS from our lubricants and advancing our MicPol® technology, we offer industries a high-performance alternative that meets global regulatory standards while minimising environmental impact.” – Frédéric Mus, CEO Interflon
