Challenge: Eliminate lubricant contamination
Due to machine sealing failures, water leaks occurred, contaminating the oil. The oil used by the customer did not have the ability to separate the water for purging, which damaged the lubrication pump (USD 3,500).
Our solution
We recommended switching to Interflon Food Lube G100.
The result
After switching to Interflon, the following was achieved:
- Separation and removal of water.
- Reduction in lubricant consumption by 75%.
- Reduction in corrosion.
- No more premature pump failures.
