Lubrication of Bearings
Challenge: Lubricate unsafe and hard-to-reach points, and prevent lubricant stains on the packaging
Depalletizers have numerous lubrication points, most of which are at height. To avoid frequent relubrication tasks, the machine at this customer was over-lubricated. This resulted in staining on the packaging and machine.
Our solution
We recommended Interflon Food Grease LT2 in combination with a centralized manual system and Single Point Lubricators.
The result
After installing the Interflon solution, the following was achieved:
- Avoided risks associated with lubricating at height.
- Reduced lubricant consumption with 75%.
- Prevention of lubricant stains.
- Reduced labor for lubrication with 80%.
