The customer was experiencing a contamination issue due to excessive lubrication and the presence of external contaminants that adhered to the chain. This led to premature wear and low reliability of the lubrication method.
Our solution
We recommended implementing automatic lubrication and applying Interflon Food Lube G100.
The result
After implementing our solution, which requires minimal oil quantities, the following was achieved:
- Extended lifespan of the chains by 3x
- Reduced lubricant consumption by 20%
- Prevention of lubricant stains on pallets
