Modernising track lubrication

We're pleased to introduce a significant advancement for railway track lubrication teams. Interflon has developed a new coating technology based on proven methods, now widely adopted by major and heritage railways globally. This innovation greatly improves efficiency, allowing track workers to maintain tracks more effectively in less time.

The process is straightforward: in the first year, only 25% of the joints need to be cleaned, while the remaining 75% are treated by overspraying on closed plates. Each subsequent year, an additional 25% is cleaned, so that by the fourth year, all joints are fully maintained. The cleaning process is as quick as the traditional black oiling of open joints.
